About:

Alma Family Services was established in 1975 in East Los Angeles to provide, along with other purposes, a comprehensive range of multilingual community-based services for those with special needs including emotional, physical and/or developmental delays and their families.

 

Services Provided at The Wellness Center:

Counseling, Therapy, & Peer Support: Alma Family Services screens and assesses clients for barriers to self-sufficiency including, but not limited to, domestic violence, alcohol, drug abuse, inadequate parenting and anger management issues. In addition, they develop coordinated space plans with collaborative goals and offer support groups focusing on stress management, grief & loss, parenting, and anger management such as the Knitting and "Well-Being" group.
